Seek & Shield was founded by Arik Lindsay — a licensed security contractor, certified firearms instructor, seasoned investigator, and, most importantly, a father. With nearly two decades of experience, Arik has built Seek & Shield on the foundation of world-class training, global fieldwork, and a deep personal mission to protect families and organizations with integrity and discretion.

Arik’s professional journey began under the mentorship of Scotland Yard’s SO19 Sergeant Steve Purl (author of two best-selling books under the pen name Steve Collins). Purl, a veteran of nearly 20 years with SO19 and over 1,000 counter-terrorism and high-stake raids, personally sponsored Arik’s licensing and trained him in firearms, surveillance, and counter-surveillance, executive protection and security tactics.

From there, Arik went on to direct field operations worldwide — spanning the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America. His experience covers everything from corporate investigations and counter-espionage to risk mitigation, logistics, asset recovery, and cyber protection. Today, Arik applies the same elite-level discipline used abroad to protecting families, businesses, and communities here at home.
